Company History
The history of Cal-Aero
began 30 years ago.
Cal-Aero's owner
and President, Don Wollard, was encouraged by the wind, sand, and
the dream of flight which brought Wilbur and Orville Wright to Kitty
Hawk, North Carolina, where they achieved their first successful
airplane flights on December 17, 1903. With courage and perseverance
these self taught engineers relied on teamwork and the application
of scientific process. Cal-Aero is proud to model their company
structure after the same kind of perseverance, drive, precision
and teamwork that the Wright Brothers embraced so many years ago.
Mr. Wollard has
30 years of experience in aircraft parts from Piper, Cessna and
Beech. All the way to the Lockheed L1011 Widebody spares.
Cal-Aero Parts
and Services was formed in April, 1993 to service Regional part
135 and 121 carriers. The emphasis was on larger piston and turbine
twins.
